The one i like the most is the “running puffin” (fratercula arctica in latin) at the bottom left of the birds gallery with is photographed in Stø in northern Norway 2009. For me the puffins are magnificent with the diving/ fishing in the sea, flying underwater, perfectly shaped to be able to both dive and fly underwater like a turtle and later sprint and start to fly like a bird in the sky – great divers they are and great flyers they are.
The image is shoot with a Nikon D2X and a nikkor 300/2.8 lens from a small boat with Kira at the rudder.
